Ok, so I first heard about Rosehip oil when I read about Miranda Kerr using it to fight the signs of ageing. Immediate reaction.. Ok, where do I get this rosehip oil from?
You think about using oil on your skin and may feel a little reluctant, “won’t is make my skin break out?” Well, there are good oil and bad oils. Good oils like rosehip oil, help moisturize dry, sun damaged skin which is what causes most wrinkles. So, we need to keep our skin moisturized.
Why use Rosehip?
- Contains Vitamin E, an antioxidant that hydrates dry and sensitive skin.
- Packed full of fatty acids omega 3, 6 and 9 – which help repair and regenerate damaged skin tissue.
- Vitamin C - which my beautician swears by for anti-ageing and restoring skin tone.
- Last but not least, lycopene, which helps improve skin texture and offer protection against premature ageing.
How do you use Rosehip oil and how often?
I use rosehip oil on my face every other night before bed. On the weekends I actually use it along with my Unicorn to do my Gua Sha massage. It is a great anti-ageing combo.
If you use Rosehip, let us know. Would love to hear your experience.
